I considered painting the black to minimize the effect, but decided to instead embrace it after my wife said, unprovoked, "That looks cool." Maybe it looks cool to you, or maybe it looks stupid? If you don't, you'll just have this cool piece of wood *** Materials: - Maple Hardwood - Molded Resin Bed - Stained and Sealed Features: - Retains Glock and Ruger magazine compatibility - Retains right or left side magazine release - 13 oz / 10.9 oz less than original stock - Stunning light contrast against the bold barrel of the PCC Defects: - One spot on an underside edge where sanding rubbed through the stain. - Mark line not removed on underside of stock where resin and wood merge. - Bubbles in some parts of the resin. - Clear resin poured after the black resin was formed around the screw holes. When sanded away it's less than pretty. - Imperfect sanding around magazine release, in the resin. - Finish sealing not without flaws. No major runs but around five minor to very minor runs. - General overall feeling of a prototype.
